Terms of Service

Last updated: June 11, 2026

The short version

You sign up; you pay for what you use; you don't abuse the service; we'll do our best to keep the lights on. The longer version is below.

Who can use Foxlark

Foxlark accounts are for parents and legal guardians of school-aged children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. Children use the platform under the parent's account through a child profile — they do not sign in directly with a contact address.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password and PIN private.
  • You're responsible for the activity on your account, including the child profiles you add.
  • If you think your account has been accessed without permission, email us immediately at security@foxlark.app.

Billing, trials, and cancellation

  • Foxlark currently offers a Free plan (one child profile, hand-crafted library) and two paid plans, both priced in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST: Per Child (A$12.95/month or A$129/year per child) and Family (A$24.95/month or A$249/year, up to four children). Both paid plans include full AI features.
  • Family plans include a 14-day free trial. We do not capture a payment method during the trial. If you continue past day 14 you'll be charged for the plan you chose.
  • You can cancel any time from the Manage billing button in your parent dashboard. On cancellation, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period; after that the account returns to the Free tier and child profiles and history are preserved.
  • Because the trial is free, we generally do not refund mid-period charges. We'll work with you if something is wrong on our side.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with people outside your household.
  • Attempt to bypass billing, rate limiting, or account quotas.
  • Use Foxlark to scrape, crawl, or replicate the content library for redistribution.
  • Use the AI generation features in any way that produces content harmful to children.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the Foxlark platform or any part of it for commercial competitive purposes.

Content and IP

All Foxlark content — questions, hints, explanations, curriculum structure, and the software that powers them — is owned by Foxlark Learning. You get a limited, non-transferable license to use it for your own family's learning while your subscription is active. Your child's practice data is yours and stays yours; you can export or delete it any time.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform is built with redundancy in mind; major incidents are communicated by email to active subscribers.

Limits of our liability

Foxlark is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are emailed to subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are handled in the courts of New South Wales.
